Jonathan Bard is a member of the firm's litigation department where his
practice focuses on civil litigation, including appeals, commercial disputes
and personal injury. Jon also consults with businesses on copyright and
trademark issues, including registrations and litigation, as well as immigration
and naturalization law.
Jon received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in history from LeMoyne
College in 2003. He continued his studies at the State University at Buffalo
Law School where he received a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, with a concentration
in finance transactions in 2008.
While attending law school, Jon was an executive editor of the Buffalo
Public Interest Law Journal. He also clerked for the Office of Assemblyman
Sam Hoyt (144th Assembly District), a law firm in Binghamton, New York,
and the United States Attorney's Office (Western District of New York).
He was a recipient of the Tom Headrick Award, presented to the law student
who demonstrates academic achievement in the area of corporate finance.
Jon spends his time away from the office playing golf, running half marathons,
and spending time with his wife Amanda and daughter Abigail.
