Mackenzie Hughes has opportunities in our litigation, business, and trusts/estates departments. Depending on the department, candidates will research various issues; collaborate with other attorneys about strategies; help manage cases and transactions from inception through completion; attend court conferences, oral arguments, depositions, mediations and trials; be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, amending, and finalizing agreements and other documents related to business and real estate matters; and work on various aspects of clients’ planning.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in New York State; have excellent research and communication skills; be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment; demonstrate high level organizational skills for prioritizing workload; and demonstrate ability to absorb, process and understand new information rapidly.
