Jennifer Ploetz Williams has been elected to the partnership at Mackenzie Hughes LLP.
A member of the law firm’s litigation department since 2007, Williams’ practice focuses on civil litigation, including commercial disputes, personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, legal malpractice and insurance coverage. “Jen has been a tremendous asset to Mackenzie Hughes and our clients over the past three years,” said Steve Helmer, partner and chairman of the executive committee at Mackenzie Hughes. “Her instincts and management skills in her practice have been invaluable to the legal services we provide for our clients. We’re pleased to name her a partner on our team.”
A resident of Syracuse, Williams has more than 12 years of legal experience, including her three years with Mackenzie Hughes. She received her law degree from Albany Law School of Union University and holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Brockport. Williams is admitted to practice in the State of New York, in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Western, Southern, and Eastern Districts of New York and in the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Onondaga County and New York State Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Central New York Women’s Bar Association. She also serves on the Vera House Board of Directors.
