Mackenzie Hughes Adds Attorney Christopher J. Baiamonte

Mackenzie Hughes LLP is pleased to announce the recent addition of attorney Christopher J. Baiamonte to the firm.

Christopher J. Baiamonte joined the Litigation Department, where he focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation, with experience in environmental law, municipal and land use disputes and complex business matters. Baiamonte represents clients in state and federal courts across New York, handling matters such as contract disputes, real estate litigation, zoning challenges and environmental liability cases under CERCLA and the New York Navigation Law. He also advises municipalities on SEQRA compliance, zoning codes and renewable energy siting.

Baiamonte holds a J.D. from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree from Keuka College. He is admitted to practice in New York and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. His legal scholarship has been recognized with the Samuel J.M. Donnelly Publication Award and a Certificate of Recognition for Pro Bono Service. Active in the local legal community, he is a frequent lecturer on zoning and land use law. In his spare time, Baiamonte enjoys running, live music, local sports and the outdoors.
