Rick James Appointed to New York State Lawyer Assistance Trust

Richard P. James of Mackenzie Hughes LLP has been appointed by the Honorable Jonathan Lippman, Chief Judge of New York State’s Highest Court, to a three year term on the Board of Trustees of the New York State Lawyer Assistance Trust, which provides statewide leadership and financial assistance to programs addressing health-related issues among legal professionals.

For 20 years Mr. James has worked at Mackenzie as a litigation attorney, serving as special counsel to Onondaga County, the Cities of Syracuse, Oswego and Cortland, OCWA and other public authorities.
