W. Bradley Hunt Named Partner at Mackenzie Hughes LLP

SYRACUSE, NY – W. Bradley Hunt was recently elected to the partnership at Mackenzie Hughes LLP. Since joining the firm in 2004, Hunt’s practice has focused on business litigation and environmental and land use law. He has handled state and federal cases in both trial and appellate courts and has extensive experience in motion practice and appeals.

Hunt also represents clients before a variety of municipal planning and zoning boards and in negotiations with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. He currently works as the Planning Board Attorney for the Town of Van Buren and the Village of Manlius. “Over the years, Brad has played a pivotal role in successfully and effectively meeting the legal needs of our clients,” said Steve Helmer, partner and chairman of the Mackenzie Hughes Executive Committee. “Our clients have been impressed by his tremendous work ethic and needless to say, we are impressed.

We are pleased to welcome him as a partner to the firm.” Prior to joining Mackenzie Hughes, Hunt practiced law at Mayer Brown in Chicago, where he represented major corporate and government clients in complex litigation in state and federal courts throughout the nation. He has also served as a law clerk to Judge Pasco Bowman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in Kansas City.

A resident of Syracuse, Hunt holds a juris doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. Hunt is admitted to the New York and Illinois bar associations as well as several federal courts.
