Deven Desai joined Mackenzie Hughes in August 2024 as an Associate. He concentrates his practice in business and corporate law including mergers & acquisitions, securities, commercial development, corporate governance, business formations, and contract law.
While at Babson College, Deven held numerous internships in business and consulting roles furthering his understanding of the corporate world. Deven obtained a dual J.D./M.B.A. degree from Quinnipiac University College of Law School. While in law school he interned at Beiersdorf, Inc., Connecticut Attorney General’s Antitrust Division, and Jackson, Grant Investment Advisers, Inc.
Born and raised in Rome, NY, Deven is dedicated to helping businesses in upstate New York thrive, drawing on his learned experiences elsewhere to foster growth in the local community.
In Deven’s free time he enjoys soccer, training for triathlons, downhill skiing, and also supporting the Syracuse Orange.
